This study aims to examine how the implementation of a green economy in Indonesia can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and reduce poverty. The National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024, which emphasizes the importance of sustainable development, focuses on policies. This research collects data from various sources through qualitative approaches and literature reviews to illustrate how a green economy can improve access for the poor to their welfare. This study shows that there is a close relationship between the implementation of a green economy and poverty reduction. It also shows that learning from countries that have succeeded in this regard is very important.Therefore, this research offers valuable knowledge to policymakers and practitioners in the process of formulating useful strategies to achieve sustainable development goals in Indonesia. It is hoped that the implementation of a green economy in public policy will enable inclusive and sustainable growth and help address complex issues such as environmental degradation and poverty.
